Collective Body
Régis Souto · Mixed media on canvas · 36 × 36 in (91.4 × 91.4 cm) · 2026
The body becomes a temple of creation. In it, our many selves multiply and find room to express themselves. There is the one who takes sides, the one who complains the most, the one who acts like a child, and the one who works to keep everyone fed. Which one are you right now?
The small hand in the painting, made like a child's drawing on a wall, points to what we can still create. When we recognize all of these sides as part of ourselves, we become ready to give shape to the world we carry inside.
